‘Overlooked and Underreported’ highlights the invisibility of the many remarkable world-changing achievements of women across the world, throughout history and was exhibited at the Diaspora Pavilion in 2017. Following a short research period at Hypatia Trust in Penzance, I solicited nominations from around the globe to collate a diverse list of remarkable women. The actions, words, ambitions and/or thinking of each nominee have had an enormous impact on our world but the majority of the women remain absent from the platform they deserve.
