Hoy

In March and April 2008 I participated in an international artists workshop on the island of Hoy, Orkney. The wintery conditions impacted on the work of all the artists. Central to my inspiration was the time and distance of the journey to Hoy from London overland.

Artists Workshops are a space where artist can try out different things with the support and advice of other practitioners without the pressures of an exhibition despite the intensity of the experience. During this workshop I produced two pieces each outside my usual medium of photography
