In 2001 my father was diagnosed with cancer which coincided with the arrival of my first cameraphone which unwittingly documents the following few years of my life. This small work and series of images reflect the ordinary and sometimes mundane backgrounds against which much of life’s dramas are played.
First shown at BOOK in 2006 -an exhibition of 23 artists books made over the course of a year. The books were driven by the concerns and interests of the individual artists and provided another kind of space within which to work and exchange ideas.
