Joy Gregory 'In Conversation' with Sunil Gupta

Joy Gregory has been working with photography, video, and sound installations for the last 20 years. Based in London, her work has caused her to travel extensively in the Caribbean, Southern Africa and Europe. This is her first visit to India. She has been involved in the post-colonial, post-modern moments in London. She has participated in the emancipation of both black and women photographers from the strait-jacket of modernism. She has published monographs, and has taught for many years, most recently at the London College of Communication. Her interests have included both digital and 19th C processes, and subjects as diverse as Beauty and Language
