Artist in Residence - University Hospital Lewisham
(2008-08-02)
Celebrating 60 Years of the NHS
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the National Health Service University Hospital Lewisham has extended it’s ambitious contemporary art programme and created residencies for an artist and a poet. Joy Gregory will be the Artist-in-Residence.
From the summer of 2008 she will work with staff, patients, visitors and support groups as part of her research in the production of new work. As well as contributing to the hospitals growing contemporary art collection, this art work will be a last legacy of this year’s celebration and be on permanent display in the Hospital.
Regular updates of the work in progress will appear on a blog linked to this page for the duration of the Residency.
