JOY GREGORY’S CINDERELLA TOURS EUROPE 1997–2001
Issue 21 of NKA features Cheryl Finley’s in depth piece of writing on ‘Cinderella Tours Europe’. The essay examines complexities of diasporic issues in relation to race, gender and the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade and draws together the relationship between this work and Memory & Skin.
Cheryl Finley is an art critic, columnist and curator specializing in photography, African American art, cultural heritage tourism and the politics of memorialization.
