A photography workshop run in conjunction with acclaimed photographer Andrew Tshabangu at the Bag Factory in Johannesburg. Taking the city as its central theme the participants drawn from different parts of South Africa will discuss and make work in response to the city of Johannesburg. Everyone on the workshop will have the opportunity to print their photographs using Fox Talbot's original 19th century salt printing process. For many this will be a first experience of taking pictures in downtown Johannesburg despite living in the city.
