This exhibition features new and existing work from Girl Thing, The Handbag Project and Glove. In Girl Thingimages of typically feminine clothing and accessories work to question society's emphasis on the importance of women's appearance. The Handbag Project and Glove connect issues of femininity to wider social, historical and political concerns with particular reference to South Africa.
